Sedangkan “Durango” sendiri memiliki makna “Tanah Liar” yang nantinya menjadi konsep program ini. Dunia: Into A New World adalah variety show hasil kolaborasi antara MBC dan Mobile game Durango: Wild Lands milik perusahaan Nexon, yang akan berisi tentang perjuangan hidup 10 anggotanya setelah terdampar di “Dunia”.
